In-Cosmetics Global 2023 Exhibition & Conference was held in Barcelona, Spain at the Fira Barcelona Gran from 28th to 30th March 2023.

Sustainability is now top of mind for personal care and cosmetic ingredient suppliers, manufacturers and brands. Helping the industry to take the next step towards circularity, in-cosmetics Global, brought sustainability at the forefront. It really helped attendees understand what it means to be truly sustainable. The new, dedicated Sustainability Zone welcomed exhibitors who can support suppliers and manufacturers in becoming more sustainable.

Though there were more than 900 suppliers exhibiting their products but there were plenty of opportunities to leave the crowd behind and take in below educational seminar.

Marketing Trends
One can gather market intelligence surrounding the personal care industry with the Marketing Trends presentations.These sessions delivered the latest industry trends, facts, figures, market analysis, and research data into the various frameworks that define the beauty industry.

Technical Sessions
There were inspirational presentations for new product formulations, which has helped discover alternative solutions for existing projects. Delivered by professionals from raw material suppliers, these presentations provided a comprehensive overview of key personal care ingredients; from in-depth knowledge of the benefits they provide to sharing scientific evidence that substantiates the claims associated with their products.

Formulation Lab
The Formulation Lab provided the opportunity for formulators and R&D specialists to learn new formulation techniques. These sessions were carefully curated to maximise the scope of learning and help formulators stay on top with the latest personal care ingredients.

Mibelle Biochemistry won the coveted active gold award at in-cosmetics Global 2023 in Barcelona for its CALMandrin skincare ingredient.

The anti-ageing and anti-inflammation active is sustainably obtained by upcycling the peel paste from organic Chios mandarins.

The silver award was taken by Spanish firm Provital for Altheostem while the bronze was won by compatriot Bicosome for Bicobiome.

There were other categories like Innovation Zone Best Ingredient – Functional, Green Ingredient, Rising star, Sensory Bar , Make-Up Bar, where too Gold, Silver & Bronze awards were given

The event’s dedicated country pavilions exhibited the trends and innovations by suppliers, spanning France, UK, Brazil, Spain, China, Tunisia, South Africa and Indonesia.

R&D Tour covered themes like Microbiome – Advancements in skincare and anti-ageing, Skinification and Biotech.It was truly focused on Innovation.

There was overwhelming response given the situation like war between Russia & Ukraine and earthquake in Turkey. The turnover of visitors were very high, much more than expected.Came to know that head count by second day was more than 12,000.

Kumar Organic Products Ltd.,(KOPL) had also participated in the exhibition with range of all products and launched five focused products like Kopuchiol (Bakuchiol- a natural Retinol alternative), Two bioferments- Kopryza (Bacillus/Rice ferment filtrate) &Kopalleum (Saccharomyces/Coconut Oil/Onion Bulb Ferment Lysate Filtrate Oil),both being effective in Hair & Skin care segments, a preservative blend KOPTBC (Triethyl Citrate, Caprylyl Glycol, Benzoic Acid) and Kopulan (Pullulan)

In-Cosmetics Global 2023 was a great show for all exhibitors as customers were present from every corner of the world. It was really a rewarding experience for all attendees.
