With the pharmaceutical business booming and North America becoming the centre of a huge portion of it, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Ingredients (CPhI) North America is set to become the latest addition to the CPhI portfolio, offering complete access to the continent’s pharmaceutical supply chain. The 32nd edition of InformEx, organised by UBM, is slated to take place between May 16 and 18, 2017 at Pennsylvania Convention Centre, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
Exhibitors and visitors The event will help to connect with 630-plus exhibitors and is expected to attract around 6,000-plus visitors. It is a marketplace designed to bring key business leaders together to foster dynamic business relationships and will leverage the strength of the global brand to bring the right attendees to the show.
CPhI Connect Powered by the American Chemical Society, the connect conference programme will deliver the latest conference content and help visitors to mingle with key stakeholders from across the drug development, drug manufacturing, outsourcing, regulatory and specialty chemical industries across the complete pharma supply chain. Featuring 24 master classes dedicated to the pharma industry, the line-up of keynote speakers at the conferences will include Ronald T Piervincenzi (USP), John Foley (KMCO) and Magid Abou-Gharbia (Temple University), and there will be perspectives from Eli Lilly, BASF, Lonza, Merck, Pfizer, etc.
InformEx Connect At InformEx Connect, visitors can know about the future for growth and innovation in the fine and specialty chemical industries.
Co-located events CPhI North America will match buyers and sellers who are at the same point in the purchasing cycle, from early discovery to commercialisation, allowing them to do business. This year it is co-located with ICSE, FDF and InnoPack.
ICSE (Drug Development Zone): At ICSE, the visitors can discover world-class contract research organisations (CROs) specialising in both pre-clinical and clinical research.
FDF (Manufacturing of Finished Drug Products Zone): At FDF, visitors looking for contract development and marketing organisations (CDMOs)/contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) can meet the makers of small and large molecule finished drugs.
InnoPack (Packaging Zone): Here the visitors will be able to learn about the innovation in the growing packaging market.
With the United States pharma market expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) ranging between three and six per cent between 2016 and 2020, the event will provide an opportunity to showcase the latest innovations and technologies to potential buyers.
Thus, the event will bring together the entire pharma eco-system, from early discovery to commercialisation, under one roof, offering access to the right partners at any stage of development.
