Poly Medicure forays into medical devices markets of Telangana, Andhra

Poly Medicure Limited, one of the leading manufacturers of medical
devices and disposables in India, is foraying into healthcare markets of
Telangana with its state of art medical technology products in
respiratory, renal and blood banking segments. The company with an
annual turnover of Rs. 394 crore is aiming
to capture both domestic and international markets. As part of this, it
has introduced state-of-the-art technology and quality products under
its brand name Polymed in Telangana.
According to Hemant Bhalla,
vice president, sales & marketing, Polymed, with large number of
super specialty hospitals and huge healthcare market potential in
Hyderabad and surrounding districts, Telangana has huge market potential
for high quality medical equipment devices.“The renal, respiratory and
blood banking markets are rapidly growing in India. The market has grown
robustly in past few years to become the potential investment field for
players. For Polymed it will be a new venture and we are high on hopes
of making it a success in Telangana and Andhra market soon,” said Hemant
Bhalla, vice president, sales & marketing, Polymed.
As part
of this, the company is planning to strengthen its sales force and is
looking to add 100 more members to its sales team and wants to increase
the dealer network by another 50 per cent so as to increase the hospital
coveraget across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Starting with
Telangana, Polymed plans to introduce advanced range of respiratory care
products, renal care products including machines, blood banking
including equipments machine and DEHP & PVC free products to the
portfolio to provide better patient care in all major cities of
Telangana & Andhra region.
