ISF College of Pharmacy (ISFCP), Moga has inked a pact with NIPER, Mohali for collaborative research. The
MoU was signed by Parveen Garg, Chairman, ISFCP and Prof. Raghuram Rao,
Director, NIPER, Mohali) in the presence of Dr. Savina Bansal, Dean (R
& D), Dr. R. K. Bansal, Dean, (Student welfare), MRSPTU, Bathinda,
Dr. P. V. Bharatam, Dean, NIPER, (Guest of Honour), Er. Janesh Garg,
Secretary ISFCP and Prof. G.D. Gupta, Director, ISFCP along with 800
researcher and students .
A seminar on Collaborative Efforts of
Pharmaceutical Science for Society was organized on this occasion at
ISFCP. The MoU was intended to collaborative research for finding out
ways where both leading institutes can work together for betterment of
society. A delegation of Scientists and 50 researchers under leadership
of Professor Rao, visited the Institute.
Detailed presentations
were made by Head of Departments of ISFCP Dr. Amit Kumar Goyal, Dr.
Rahul Deshmukh and Dr. R. K. Rawal to showcase the strengths of the
Institute while Prof. Rao gave the detailed account on various
activities of NIPER for benefit of society. Two scientists Dr. Goyal and
Dr. Guaram Rath of ISFCP were felicitated with cash Prize of Rs 1.5
lakh each on account for a transfer of technology to the industry. Dr GD
Gupta, Director, ISFCP provided a snap short of the achievements of
Institute.
During the seminar the physical copy and online
version of ‘PharmAspire’ the official Journal of ISFCP was released.
Editors of the journal Dr. R. K. Rawal, Prof. MS Rathore and Dr. Upender
Nagaish, Secretary, SPER Publication New Delhi briefed about the long
standing of print version and reiterate the commitment to maintain the
quality standards of the content. in post half of seminar both the
parties signing mou were mutually agreed to work hand in hand in the
area of Green World, diabetes risk screening, water impurity analysis
and availability of clean drinking water to society. Dr RK Narang, Vice
Principal, ISFCP extended his vote of thanks and the event was
coordinated by Arpandeep and Seema Brar.
