Pharma Eurasia 2026 to open new business opportunities in Tashkent

The global pharmaceutical industry will converge in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, between May 20 and 22, 2026, for Pharma Eurasia 2026, an international exhibition and summit aimed at strengthening pharmaceutical trade, manufacturing partnerships, and regulatory collaboration across Central Asia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the broader Eurasian region.
The event will take place at Tashkent Pharma Park, a flagship pharmaceutical manufacturing hub developed as part of Uzbekistan’s ambitious healthcare and life sciences expansion strategy.
Pharma Eurasia aligns with the national vision of H. E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Republic of Uzbekistan, whose government has prioritised the development of a self-sufficient pharmaceutical ecosystem and the transformation of Uzbekistan into a strategic gateway for pharmaceutical trade across the CIS region.
Pharma Eurasia 2026 will bring together pharmaceutical manufacturers, technology providers, contract manufacturers, equipment suppliers, regulators, investors, and supply chain leaders from across the global pharmaceutical industry.
The exhibition will showcase innovations and solutions across key industry segments including: Pharma, nutraceutical & herbal formulations; Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs); Finished drug formulations (FDF); Third-party contract manufacturers; pharmaceutical machinery & processing equipment; Packaging & drug delivery systems; Laboratory & R&D technologies; cold chain & pharmaceutical logistics.
The event is expected to host more than 300 exhibitors, more than 3,000 international trade visitors and 300+ hosted buyers from CIS and Eurasian markets. Participating companies will have the opportunity to connect with senior decision-makers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Belarus, and other CIS markets.
Pharma Eurasia 2026 will feature several high-level programmes designed to facilitate market access and business collaboration.
A curated B2B matchmaking platform connecting exhibitors with procurement heads, plant directors, distributors, and pharmaceutical investors from across the CIS and Eurasian region. Pre-scheduled meetings will enable exhibitors to establish strategic partnerships and expand regional distribution networks.
The event will feature a grand opening ceremony followed by Moderator's entry welcoming participants in three languages (Uzbek, English, Russian) along with introduction of honoured guests.
This will be followed by Welcoming Addresses of 5 minutes each by the Representative of the Leadership of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency (Abdulla Azizov), Honoured Guest (e.g., Ambassador of India or South Korea - as key partners) and Representative of the Organizing Committee (Expo Tour Group & Tricornio Technologies).
Following Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony with key speakers invited to the stage, an official declaration of the exhibition opening will take place. The event will also feature VIP Exhibition Tour with the moderator inviting the official delegation to tour the exhibition stands followed by a Media/Press briefing in the Press Zone.
Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, will inaugurate the event with his Welcome Address. This will be followed by Satish Vijaywargi, Company Investor of Serena Pharm & Grandene, sharing international experience and investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
Elyor Rahmatov, CEO of Tibtekhnika, will share his insights on Technological development and equipment for the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
Dr. Viranchi Shah, Immediate Past President, Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) and Managing Director - Saga Life Sciences Ltd, will give a low-down on Emerging role of India in global healthcare.
Temirov A., Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety will share his knowledge on National strategy and support for the pharmaceutical market.
Amit Srivastava, Founder, Nutrify Today, will share his thoughts on Nutraceutical Industry in CIS Perspective.
Post-lunch, there is going to be a Panel Session on the Development of the pharmaceutical industry and interaction between government and business with Speakers from Rom Pharma, Dentafill and Meros Pharma.
This will be followed by a session by Nutrify Today Sumflex in which Nikhil Kelkar, MD, HEXAGON, will share trends in supplements and how Tashkent could facilitate as corridor to Indian Nutra Industry access CIS countries.
Dr. Yashwant from Benefic Nutrition will give a talk on Ayurveda in modern formats. Dr. Tahira N., from The Quantum Ayurveda will give a talk on Ayurveda in modern formats and Bridreth K will share insights on Innovation in supplement formulations- what Tashkent Pharmatech Park could do to facilitate innovation in CIS countries on Supplement.
Rahul Marwah will deliver a talk on Traceability an important step in Ayurveda ingredients business. Sunil Gupta, Dr. Nikhil, Shafi N, Bridreth and Dr. Yashwant will discuss Harmonization with CIS and India: How this could expedite Nutra multifold.
On the second day (May 21), Dr. Hemant Koshia, Former Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA) Commissioner, Gujarat State, India, will discuss past, present and future of regulatory policies for licence/inspections/drug product testing/serialisation and distribution to ensure right end quality.
Anna Filippova, Head of Pharma Logistics Development, AFR Head Wellgo, will discuss Temperature controlled supply chain under GDP standards - Difficulties and Solutions.
Vijay Kshirsagar, Chairperson-Advisory Board, PharmaEurasia, Director-TRAC Pharma Consulting, India, will share his insights on Productivity & Quality: Do they go hand in hand with full GxP compliance?
Dr. L. Ramaswamy, Chairman, Sotax Ltd, will share his thoughts on Speed to Market-What Matters most from Marketing perspective?
Kasimov Z.I., Deputy Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, will talk about facilitating healthy growth of the pharmaceutical industry and interaction between government, industry and customers.
This will be followed by a Panel Discussion and a Question and Answer on Digital Drug Labelling and Traceability: Results and Future Outlook Counterfeit prevention, integration of monitoring systems across countries by Astarov Aziz, Alimukhammedov Bakhtiyor from Drug Labelling Specialists of the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety.
Akhmedov B., Director of the Center of Good Practices will give a talk on Aligning GMP/Dossier - Requirements/inspections and Pharmacovigilance.
A talk on E-prescriptions as a tool of National Pharmaceutical Policy considering common pitfalls will be delivered by a local expert.
Amit Guru, Global MD & CTO-Conneco Digital, will deliver a lecture on Digital Transformation across Pharma Value Chain.
