PCHi fountain awards 2026: Call for nominations now open

Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE) announces that nominations for the PCHi Fountain Awards 2026 are now open. One of the industry’s most prestigious accolades, the PCHi Fountain Awards recognises outstanding innovation in personal care and cosmetic ingredient technologies. The Awards will be presented alongside PCHi 2026, taking place from March 18 to 20, 2026, at the Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center. Companies and formulation professionals are invited to submit their most innovative achievements for consideration.
First launched in 2010 as the China Personal Care & Cosmetic Technology Innovation Awards and renamed the PCHi Fountain Awards in 2017, this distinguished program has become a hallmark of the industry. It celebrates groundbreaking products, technologies, and individuals that are shaping the future of personal care. Over the years, the Fountain Awards have come to symbolise PCHi’s mission as the ‘Source of Beauty, Choice of Excellence’, underscoring its role in championing innovation across the global personal care community.
The 2026 edition of the Awards features updates that reflect the latest market developments and technological advancements. This year, the introduction of the ‘Cosmetic Ingredient Registration Number’ as a reference for submissions will add further clarity, while product categories have been optimised to align with current industry priorities. The judging process has also been enhanced to maintain its fairness, transparency, and rigour.
The judging panel includes experts from industry associations, senior executives from leading companies, renowned academics, and members of PCHi’s Cosmetics Science & Technology Innovation Committee (CSTIC). All entries will be assessed across multiple dimensions, including structural and process innovation, market applicability, toxicology and safety, sustainability, intellectual property, and technical merit. To ensure fairness and impartiality, the Fountain Awards jury rotates annually and adheres to a strict evaluation process.
“The Fountain Awards captures the spirit of innovation at the heart of PCHi. Each year, they shine a light on the creativity of companies and individuals while recognising breakthroughs that are redefining personal care. By celebrating these achievements, we hope to encourage the industry to keep advancing ingredient technologies and formulation science,” said an RSE spokesperson.
Nominations can be made via the Exhibitor Manual portal, with forms available in both Chinese and English. Exhibitors should submit their entries before 11:00 pm (GMT+8) on December 12, 2025, and the list of finalists will be announced in February 2026.
At PCHi 2026, a dedicated Fountain Awards showcase area will allow finalists to present their innovations to thousands of industry professionals—offering valuable exposure and opportunities to connect with the industry’s decision-makers and innovators. The Awards Ceremony on March 18, 2026 will serve as the culmination of this journey, honouring the winners while reinforcing the Awards’ role as a benchmark of excellence for the industry.
