The ChemExpo India 2025, organized by Chemical Weekly, concluded successfully on April 30 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Goregaon, Mumbai. Spanning two impactful days, the exhibition brought together key players from the chemical manufacturing, processing, and logistics sectors, including over 550+ exhibitors and more than 7,000 industry visitors.
The exhibition was co-located with ChemProTech India and ChemLogistics India, creating a comprehensive platform for innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across the value chain of the chemical industry.
The second day of the event witnessed an impressive turnout and featured a series of technical seminars that sparked deep interest among attendees. Notably, Chandrakant K Sethia, national head – sales & business development, Advanced Flow Reactors (AFR), Corning Reactor Technologies, Corning India emphasized the significance of continuous manufacturing technologies in the Indian context. He said, “Advanced flow reactors can play a vital role in achieving the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan by enabling local production of intermediates and key starting materials (KSMs), which are crucial for reducing import dependency.”
Rajeev Sejpal, Regional Manager – Middle East-India, NobleClad, shared insights on explosion welded applications in nitric acid equipment, stating, “Explosion welding delivers unmatched reliability and safety, especially for highly corrosive applications. It’s a game changer for process industries.”
Adding to the technological discourse, Dr. Makarand Pimplapure, Managing Director and Founder of Makspeed Technologies, addressed the role of flow technology in accelerating innovation and profitability in the chemical sector.
Over the two days, Ravi Raghavan, Editor of Chemical Weekly and HPIC India, delivered the Chemical Industry Overview, highlighting sectoral trends, sustainability opportunities, and India’s strategic positioning in the global chemical supply chain.
